Why use Restorative Practices in schools?
Restorative practices are used in schools to foster an equitable and positive school culture. Restorative practices focus on strengthening relationships and connections between individuals, both youth and adults, in a school community.
Who will provide the training?
Alice Graham is the owner of Learning with Purpose, LLC. She is a retired North Carolina educator with extensive experience in public schools. Mrs. Graham has used Restorative Practices and Restorative Circles for many years with her students. She received formal training in Restorative Practices through the International Institute for Restorative Practices. Mrs. Graham has completed Restorative Practices for Educators: Training for Trainers through this institute.
What is the learning format?
Online: Two consecutive 4.5-hour days of live instruction.
(2 hours of pre-work required prior to each session.
OR
In Person: Two consecutive 6.5-hour days of live instruction.
